thanks for the affection in austin, tx at sxsw, it was a fine time. it was a beautiful night with the luxurious 3-d forrest behind me at the Scottish Rite theater.

the first week of april I'll be in the states touring and then off to England for All tomorrow's parties where some incredible moments are awaiting me and the people going. we'll all be enjoying the splendor of Wire and many more ornate music endeavors. following, ATP's i'll pile in a van and travel through France playing shows along the way. looking forward to it all.

with much gratitude i have been invited to play All Tomorrow's Parties curated by the humble fellows of Shellac.

This should be quite a display of many beautiful interactions of music from some very endearing bands. After the festival I will take the ferry over to France for a week of shows, then back home to finish writing the next record. thanks for all of your interest and support. soon.

It is hard to put into words, the sorrow I feel for the families, friends and neighbors of last week's severely doleful events. New York use to be my home... and I can't conceive the distress and loss they must be going through, as well as those in Washington, D.C. and the families of those in the aircrafts.

To all of you, I send my mournful heart.



...This is presently my working attempt at finally getting a website together. It's something I've put off for quite sometime, but i'm glad to finally have an outlet to stay connected to everyone whom has been gracious in their support. With the help from my friend Nate Carson, this new site is in it's most preliminary stages. Please, let us know if you have any suggestions.

My new record entitled "dyed in the wool" is coming out late August on Quarterstick/Touch & Go Records. I'm excited about touring throughout the fall both in Europe and in the States. I'm doing Ladyfest in Chicago and will be on tour with Quasi in September and October.

I will be involved in a subscription cd ep series on three lobed recordings that will be released early next year. The site for more info is three lobed.

Finally, I've just recorded a new 7" with Brian Paulson that should be out this year on the Austin, Texas label Grey Flat Records. thanks for reading.
